Looking for a good, cheap car subwoofer, please help(?)?

I recently purchased and installed a 10" JBL GTO series Subwoofer and Eclipse 650W Amp on my car, it worked great for quite some time and hit really hard, unfortunately I blasted it a bit too loud and blew out the sub (at least I'm pretty sure its blown out, it no longer produces any sound while hooked up). So my question is, what is a good quality subwoofer (comparable sound and quality to the JBL) for a fairly reasonable price, 2 options I've looked at are Sony Xplod and Pioneer, thanks in advance for any help/advice.
