Why cant we eliminate Marin Luther King day and call it "civil rights day"?

Why is it that every year in the middle of January, Americans march to the same routine of elevating Martin Luther King Jr to the status of a god? Every year at the same time its impossible to escape the video clips, the audio clips, the pictures, the remembrance, the retrospectives, King the merciful, King the conqueror, King the almighty? The characters in George Orwell's 1984 were forced to endure 2 minutes of hate focused against the enemies of the state. Today were forced to endure 24 hours of love mandated by the government media complex. Martin Luther King jr may have done some good for some blacks in this country, but he was not a god, but a man. And a deeply flawed one at that. We now know that he was a plagiarist. We know for sure that he was an adulterer. We know he had connections to the communist party. Isn't it time to end the celebration of this separatist holiday? Nothing could be more unamerican and racist than a holiday which exults one race over another. Washington's birthday was combined with Lincoln's birthday and their names erased to reduce the emphasis on the real founders and builders on this nation. It is no longer politically correct to have a holiday named for a white American man. And today one race is given its own day to the exclusion of all others. Strike down the Liberal racism that is eroding the foundation of this nation. Why cant Martin Luther King day be eliminated once and for all and be called for what it should be. Civil Rights day for ALL. And please remove the King family from this cynical national holiday.
