Answers to unbreakable movie, No question?

i'm new to this..i thought the whole idea of the movie was based on a comic book series.and this guy for reasons unknown to mankind and has a love for mascara made a movie based on that and called it his own? hardly any imagination , anyways check the comic book stores to see the rest of the story.
