UK: Should we buy goods from "celebrity" endorsed products.?

Your question is very colourful so I read it through. Advertising should never be taken seriously and companies think we all want to be entertained so use those people who are 'favourites'. I have favourite people but they are not on TV. If they were advertising a product I might (with a squeeze of the grey matter) think about buying. I will take 'the shilling' indeed many shillings (now 5p) to advertise almost anything. Any companies out there want a new face advertising your products? Thankfully we all can come and go freely into all shops and choose our items to buy. Long may it reign.
